Valuing Health and Free Time

SUMMARY: People should not take their health and free time for granted as they are valuable gifts.

Ibn 'Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Two favors that many of the people squander are health and free time".

QUICK LESSONS:
Take care of your body by eating healthy food & exercising regularly ; Use your free-time wisely ; Make the most out of limited resources ; Do good deeds with your abilities & resources etc..

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that health and free time are two of the most precious gifts that Allah has given us. We should not take them for granted or waste them away. Instead, we should use our health to do good deeds and use our free time to learn more about Islam or help others in need. We must remember that these two things are limited resources so we must make the most of them while we can.

Health is a blessing from Allah which allows us to do all kinds of activities such as praying, fasting, helping others in need etc. It is important to take care of our bodies by eating healthy food and exercising regularly so that we can stay healthy and strong enough to perform these activities. Similarly, free time is also a gift from Allah which allows us to spend quality time with family members or friends or even just relax after a long day at work or school. We should use this precious gift wisely by engaging in meaningful activities such as reading books on Islamic topics or volunteering at local charities instead of wasting it away on unproductive tasks like watching TV all day long.

In conclusion, it is important for us to value both our health and free time as they are blessings from Allah which will eventually come to an end one day if not used properly now while we still have them both in abundance!
