The Prophet's Dream of an Epidemic

SUMMARY: The Prophet (s.a.w) had a dream in which he saw a black woman with unkempt hair leaving Al-Madinah and standing in Al-Juhfah, which he interpreted as an epidemic spreading from Al-Madinah to Al-Juhfah.

Salim bin 'Abdullah narrated from his father about the dream of the Prophet (s.a.w) who said: "I saw a black woman with unkempt hair going out of Al-Madinah, until she stood in Mabaya'ah, and it is Al-Juhfah. So I interpreted that to be an epidemic in Al-Madinah that would spread to Al-Juhfah".

QUICK LESSONS:
Take preventive measures such as washing hands regularly and avoiding contact with sick people so we can protect ourselves from getting sick or spreading illnesses further .

EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Salim bin 'Abdullah, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had a dream in which he saw a black woman with unkempt hair leaving Al-Madinah and standing in Mabaya’ah, which is also known as Al-Juhfah. He interpreted this dream to mean that there would be an epidemic spreading from Al-Madinah to Al-Juhfah. This hadith teaches us that dreams can be interpreted and used as warnings for future events, and it also serves as a reminder of the importance of taking precautions against epidemics or other illnesses that may spread quickly among people. It is important for us to take preventive measures such as washing our hands regularly and avoiding contact with sick people so we can protect ourselves from getting sick or spreading illnesses further.
