Consequences of Lying About Dreams

SUMMARY: Lying about one's dream will have consequences on the Day of Judgement.

Abu 'Abdur-Rahman(As-Sulami) narrated from 'Ali and I think he said: " From the Prophet(s.a.w), who said: "Whoever lies about his dream, he will be required to knot barely kernels on the Day of Judgement".

Be honest and truthful in your speech and actions.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is a warning from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about lying about one's dreams. On the Day of Judgement, those who have lied about their dreams will be required to knot barely kernels as punishment for their lie. This hadith teaches us that we should always be honest and truthful in our speech and actions. We should not lie or exaggerate even if it is something small like a dream because Allah knows all that we do and say and He will hold us accountable for it on the Day of Judgement.
