EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the significance and importance of believers’ dreams. It is narrated by 'Ubadah bin As-Samit that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that dreams are a portion of the forty six portions of prophet hood. This means that dreams have an important role in understanding and interpreting divine messages from Allah SWT. It is believed that Allah SWT sends His messages to His prophets through their dreams, which can be interpreted by them or those around them who understand such matters. Therefore, it is important for believers to pay attention to their own dreams as they may contain divine messages from Allah SWT. Furthermore, it is also important for believers to take care when interpreting other people’s dream as they may not be accurate or true interpretations and could lead to wrong conclusions being drawn about someone else’s dream.
