Jami at-Tirmidhi 2216 (Book 33, Hadith 59) #27849
Using Resources for Allah's Cause

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) is informing us that the empires of Khusra and Caesar will eventually come to an end, and we should use their resources for the cause of Allah.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: "When Khusra is ruined, there will be no Khusra after him, and when Caesar is ruined, there will be no Caesar after him. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You shall spend their treasures in Allah's cause".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about using resources for the cause of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) was informing us that the empires of Khusra and Caesar will eventually come to an end but before they do so we should use their resources in a way that pleases God - by spending them in His cause or path. This means using our wealth and possessions to help others who are less fortunate than us or donating money to charities or causes which are beneficial to society as a whole such as education or healthcare initiatives etc.. By doing this we can ensure that our wealth is being used in a way which pleases God and brings benefit to those around us too!
