QUICK LESSONS:
Obey laws, maintain peace among people .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about justice and how it should be upheld in society. The Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w) said that a sword will remain with his Ummah, or community, until the Day of Resurrection which is when Allah will judge all people for their actions on Earth and decide who goes to Heaven or Hell. This means that justice must be maintained in society at all times and those who break laws must be punished accordingly so that peace can prevail among people and they can live together harmoniously without fear or oppression from others. It also teaches us to have faith in Allah's judgement on the Day of Resurrection as He is just and merciful and will reward those who have done good deeds while punishing those who have committed wrongdoings according to His wisdom and mercy.
