Judgment Based on Intentions

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the destruction of a House and how Allah will judge people based on their intentions.

Safiyyah narrated "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'The people will not finish attacking this House until it is attacked by an army which, when they are at Al-Baida', or a Baida' in the land, it will swallow from the first of them to the last of them, and the middle of them shall not be saved'. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah(s.a.w)! What about those among them who are averse to it?' He said: 'Allah will resurrect them upon what was in their souls(intentions)"'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect others' opinions, Have good intentions when doing something .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the destruction of a house and how Allah will judge people based on their intentions. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that an army would attack this house and no one in it would be saved. When asked what would happen to those who were against it, he said that Allah will judge them according to what was in their hearts or intentions. This teaches us that we should always strive to have good intentions when doing something as our actions are judged by our thoughts and feelings. We should also remember that even if we do not agree with something, we should still respect other people's opinions and beliefs as Allah knows best what is right for us all.
