Warning Against Two Groups Who Have No Share in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) warned against two groups of people who have no share in Islam, the Murji'ah and the Qadariyah.

Ibn 'Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "There are two groups in my Ummah for whom there is no share in Islam: The Murji'ah and the Qadariyah". Another chain reports a similar narration.

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic teachings emphasizing both faith and action as necessary for salvation .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns Muslims against two groups of people who have no share in Islam, the Murji’ah and the Qadariyah. The Prophet Muhammad was informing his followers that these two groups are not part of his community and should be avoided as they do not follow Islamic teachings. The Murji’ah believe that faith alone is enough to guarantee salvation, while the Qadariyah believe that humans have complete control over their own destiny and actions without any divine intervention or guidance from God. Both of these beliefs go against Islamic teachings which emphasize both faith and action as necessary for salvation. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to stay away from these two groups as they do not represent true Islamic values or beliefs.
