Follow Prophet Muhammad’s teachings, Give due rights in terms of inheritance

This hadith discusses the inheritance of a wife from her husband's blood money. According to 'Umar, the blood money is upon the 'Aqilah, meaning that it should be given to those who are responsible for it. However, Ad-Dahhak bin Sufyan Al Kilabi informed him that according to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), the wife of Ashyam Ad Dibabi should receive an inheritance from her husband's blood money. This hadith teaches us that wives should be given their due rights in terms of inheritance and not be deprived or neglected in any way when it comes to their rights as wives and family members. It also shows us how important it is for us to follow Prophet Muhammad’s teachings and instructions even if they go against our own opinions or beliefs at times because he was sent by Allah as a guide for all mankind.
