Ensure justice is served even after death ; Take care of those less fortunate than ourselves ; Fulfill people's rights ; Give charity on behalf of others when necessary .

This hadith is about the importance of paying inheritance to those who are entitled to it even if they have passed away. In this case it was a freed slave who died without any heirs and so the Prophet Muhammad SAW instructed that his inheritance should be paid to someone in the town instead. This teaches us that we should always ensure that people's rights are fulfilled even after their death and not neglect them or forget about them. It also shows us how important it is for us to take care of those who are less fortunate than ourselves and make sure they get what is rightfully theirs even if they cannot do so themselves due to their circumstances or death.
