This hadith is about a woman who came to the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) asking for help in providing her two daughters with wealth so they can get married, as their uncle had taken all of their father's wealth after he passed away in battle at Uhud without leaving any for them. In response, Allah revealed an ayah regarding inheritance rights which granted them two thirds of their father's wealth and their mother one eighth, while whatever remained was given to the uncle who took it originally. This hadith teaches us that according to Islamic law, women are entitled to a portion of inheritance from deceased family members just like men are; this is an important lesson that should be taught and respected by all Muslims today as well as those living centuries ago when this revelation occurred. Furthermore, it also shows us how much compassion and mercy our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) showed towards those who were suffering or struggling financially; he always sought justice for those who were wronged or disadvantaged due to circumstances beyond their control such as these women whose father died in battle before they could receive any financial support from him or his estate after his death..
