Sahih al-Bukhari 278 (Book 5, Hadith 30) #277
Proving Innocence Through Actions

SUMMARY: The Prophet Moses was accused of having a scrotal hernia, but it was proven false when the stone he had put his clothes on ran away with them and he chased after it.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, 'The (people of) Bani Israel used to take bath naked (all together) looking at each other. The Prophet Moses used to take a bath alone. They said, 'By Allah! Nothing prevents Moses from taking a bath with us except that he has a scrotal hernia'. So once Moses went out to take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with his clothes. Moses followed that stone saying, "My clothes, O stone! My clothes, O stone! till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, 'By Allah, Moses has got no defect in his body. Moses took his clothes and began to beat the stone". Abu Huraira added, "By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating".

QUICK LESSONS:
Never judge someone based on rumors or assumptions without any proof or evidence ; Stand up for yourself if you are wrongfully accused ; Take action in order to prove your innocence instead of just accepting what others say about you without questioning it first ; Respect for all individuals regardless of their physical appearance or condition ; Do not make fun out anyone's physical condition even if they have one ; Do not spread false rumors about anyone as this can lead to serious consequences for both parties involved .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Moses and how he was falsely accused of having a scrotal hernia by the people of Bani Israel. To prove his innocence, he put his clothes on a stone and then that stone ran away with them. He followed after it until the people saw him running after it and realized that there was no defect in his body. This story teaches us to never judge someone based on rumors or assumptions without any proof or evidence. It also shows us that we should always be willing to stand up for ourselves if we are wrongfully accused of something. We should also be willing to take action in order to prove our innocence instead of just accepting what others say about us without questioning it first.
