Jami at-Tirmidhi 2023 (Book 27, Hadith 129) #27656
Forgiveness Through the Gates of Paradise

SUMMARY: The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays, and those who have not committed any sins will be forgiven, except for two people who have wronged each other.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.A.W) said: "The gates of Paradise are opened on Monday and Thursday. In them, (will enter) whoever has not associated anything with Allah will be forgiven, except for the two who shun each other, (about whom) it is said: 'Return these two until they make amends".

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to forgive others and make peace with them whenever possible

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that on Mondays and Thursdays the gates of paradise are opened. Those who have not committed any sins will be forgiven by Allah. However, there is an exception to this rule; if two people wrong each other then they must make amends before they can enter paradise. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to forgive others and make peace with them whenever possible as it is a way to gain Allah's forgiveness. It also reminds us that we should never take advantage of someone else's mistake or wrongdoings as it could prevent us from entering paradise in the future.
