Be kind & generous with your neighbours . Respect their beliefs & religion . Show politeness & respectfulness . Give away some food when you have enough for yourself & your family . Speak kindly & politely with your neighbours . Make them feel welcomed in your community/neighbourhood/society etc..

This hadith is about the importance of being kind and generous towards one's neighbors. It is narrated by Mujahid from Abdullah bin Amr, who had a sheep slaughtered for his family. When he came back, he asked if they had given some of it to their neighbor, the Jew. This shows how important it was for him to be generous with his neighbor even when there wasn't much food available for himself and his family. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also heard Jibril advising him on how important it was to treat one's neighbors kindly and politely, so much so that he thought Jibril would order him from Allah to make them heirs! This shows us just how important it is in Islam for us all to be kind and generous with our neighbors no matter what our circumstances are like or what religion they may follow. We should always strive to show kindness towards those around us as this will bring peace into our lives as well as theirs!
