EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by several companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ including Ibn Umar and Ubaidullah bin Umar. It states that it is permissible to eat and drink while walking or standing. This means that one does not have to sit down in order to consume food or drinks; they can do so while on the move as well. This hadith also teaches us about moderation in our eating habits; we should not be too indulgent when it comes to consuming food and drinks but rather practice moderation in all aspects of life. Additionally, this hadith encourages us to be mindful of our actions at all times; even when we are eating or drinking we should still maintain a sense of decorum and respect for others around us.
