Avoiding intoxicating substances like alcohol according to Islamic teachings .

This hadith is narrated by An-Nu'man bin Bashir and Abu Hurairah. It warns us about the dangers of consuming alcohol which can be made from wheat, barley, dates, raisins and honey. The Prophet Muhammad's warning is clear that we should stay away from any kind of alcoholic beverages as it has a negative effect on our health and wellbeing. We should also remember that it is forbidden in Islam to consume alcohol or any other intoxicating substances as it leads to immoral behavior such as fighting or stealing. We should strive to lead a life that follows the teachings of Islam in order to achieve success in this world and hereafter.
