Intoxicating Drinks Forbidden

SUMMARY: All drinks that intoxicate are unlawful.

Narrated 'Aishah: That the Prophet was asked about Bit' so he said: "All drinks that intoxicate are unlawful". Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْبِتْعِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by 'Aishah and it states that all drinks that cause intoxication are forbidden. The Prophet Muhammad was asked about a certain drink called Bit' and he responded by saying that all drinks which cause intoxication are unlawful. This hadith teaches us the importance of avoiding any type of intoxicants as they can lead to negative consequences such as addiction or even death in some cases.
