Charity After Death

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) left behind a white mule, his arms and a piece of land to be given in charity after his death.

Narrated 'Amr bin Al-Harith: The Prophet did not leave anything behind him after his death except a white mule, his arms and a piece of land which he left to be given in charity.

QUICK LESSONS:
Donate your possessions in charity for the benefit of others even after you have passed away.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the legacy that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ left behind after his passing away. He did not leave any wealth or possessions for himself, but instead chose to donate all of it in charity. He left behind a white mule, his arms and a piece of land which he instructed should be given away as charity. This teaches us that even when we are no longer here, our actions can still have an impact on those around us and benefit them long after we are gone. We should strive to make sure that our legacy is one of kindness and generosity so that it will continue to benefit others even when we are no longer here.
