EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a prohibition made by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ during the time of Khaibar. He prohibited two things - Mut'ah with women and eating the meat of domesticated donkeys. Mut'ah is a type of marriage which was practiced in pre-Islamic Arabia but was later abolished by Islam due to its negative effects on society. Eating donkey meat was also forbidden as it is considered unclean according to Islamic teachings. This hadith teaches us that we should follow Islamic teachings even if they go against our desires or cultural norms as they are for our own benefit in this world and hereafter.
