This shows us that even though he was a prophet and leader, he still enjoyed simple things like wearing comfortable clothing. He also taught us that we should not be too focused on materialistic items and instead focus on what is important in life such as our faith and relationships with others. This hadith also teaches us to be humble and content with what we have rather than striving for more expensive items or clothes.
