The Prophet's Horse

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) owned a horse called Al-Luhaif or Al-Lakhif.

Narrated Sahl: In our garden there was a horse belonging to the Prophet called Al-Luhaif or Al-Lakhif.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أُبَىُّ بْنُ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ فِي حَائِطِنَا فَرَسٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ اللُّحَيْفُ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمُ اللُّخَيْفُ
