The Generosity, Kindness and Bravery of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) was the most generous, kindest and bravest person among the people. He rode on an unsaddled horse belonging to Abu Talhah with a sword around his neck and was as quick as the sea.

Narrated Anas: "The Prophet was the nicest person among the people, the most generous of the people, and the bravest among the people". He said: "The inhabitants of Al-Madinah became frightened one night upon hearing a loud noise". He said: "So the Prophet met them upon an unsaddled horse belonging to Abu Talhah, with a sword hanging around his neck. He said: 'I found him to be (quick) like the sea'." - meaning the horse. Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ مِنْ أَجْرَإِ النَّاسِ وَأَجْوَدِ النَّاسِ وَأَشْجَعِ النَّاسِ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَقَدْ فَزِعَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ لَيْلَةً سَمِعُوا صَوْتًا قَالَ فَتَلَقَّاهُمُ النَّبِيُّ عَلَى فَرَسٍ لأَبِي طَلْحَةَ عُرْىٍ وَهُوَ مُتَقَلِّدٌ سَيْفَهُ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ لَمْ تُرَاعُوا لَمْ تُرَاعُوا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏"‏ وَجَدْتُهُ بَحْرًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ يَعْنِي الْفَرَسَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ

This hadith speaks about the generosity, kindness and bravery of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He was known to be the nicest person among all people, always willing to help others in need. He also showed great courage when he rode on an unsaddled horse belonging to Abu Talhah with a sword around his neck during a time when people were scared due to a loud noise they heard one night. His speed was compared to that of the sea which shows how fast he could move on this horse. This hadith is Hasan Sahih which means it is reliable and authentic according to Islamic scholars.
