Allah's Help for Those Who Strive and Remain Chaste

SUMMARY: Allah will help those who strive in His cause, those who intend to fulfill their contracts, and those who marry with the intention of remaining chaste.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of three groups of people for whom it is a right upon Allah to help them. The first group is the Mujahid, or one who strives in the cause of Allah. This could mean striving against oppression or injustice, or striving to spread knowledge about Islam. The second group is the Mukatab, which refers to someone who has entered into a contract with another person and intends to fulfill it. Finally, the third group is someone getting married with the intention of remaining chaste. All three groups are promised help from Allah if they strive in their respective causes and remain true to their commitments. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for justice and truth while also fulfilling our obligations as Muslims so that we can be deserving of divine assistance from God Almighty.
