Jami at-Tirmidhi 1627 (Book 22, Hadith 9) #27240
Virtue of Charitable Spending

SUMMARY: Spending in the cause of Allah is virtuous and rewarding.

Narrated Abu Umamah: That the Messenger of Allah said: "The most virtuous of charitable spending is the shade of a tent in the cause of Allah, or giving a servant in the cause of Allah, or a riding camel in the cause of Allah". Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan Gharib Sahih, and it is more correct to me than the narration of Mu'awiyah bin Salih.

Spend your wealth for good causes
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the virtue and reward for spending in the cause of Allah. It mentions four types of spending that are most virtuous; providing a tent, giving a servant, or giving a riding camel in the cause of Allah. The narrator Abu Umamah reported this hadith from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ which shows us how important it is to spend our wealth for good causes. We should remember that whatever we spend for good causes will be rewarded by Allah and will benefit us both in this world and hereafter.
