QUICK LESSONS:
Make vows carefully according to what pleases God .
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that making a vow or promise in disobedience to Allah is not allowed. It also states that if someone does make such a vow, then the atonement for it will be the same as that of an oath. An oath is when someone swears by Allah or something else, and if they break it then they must offer expiation for it. This means that if someone makes a vow in disobedience to Allah, then they must also offer expiation for it. This hadith teaches us to be careful with our words and promises, especially when we are making them about something related to Allah's commands. We should always strive to keep our promises and avoid breaking them, even if we have made them unintentionally or out of ignorance.
