QUICK LESSONS:
Be kind towards animals, Treat animals with respect even when sacrificing them for religious purposes

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of not sacrificing animals that have obvious physical ailments. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that it is wrong to slaughter an animal if it has a limp, a bad eye, sickness or is emaciated. He wanted us to be kind to animals and treat them with respect even when we are sacrificing them for religious purposes. We should make sure that the animal we are sacrificing is healthy so that it can live its life in peace before being sacrificed. This hadith also teaches us to be mindful of our actions when dealing with animals and other living creatures in general; we should always strive to do what is right for them even if it means going out of our way sometimes.
