Following the Teachings of Allah

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the importance of following the teachings of Allah and not adding anything to it.

'Umar bin Al-Khattab said: "The Messenger of Allah stoned, Abu Bakr stoned, and I stoned. If I didn't dislike that I add to the Book of Allah. EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of following the teachings of Allah and not adding anything to it. It was narrated by 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, who said that even Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr and himself stoned according to what was written in the book of Allah. He further added that if he didn't fear that he would add something to what is already written in the book, he would have written it down in Mushaf for future generations so they don't disbelieve in it. This hadith teaches us how important it is for us to follow what has been revealed by God without any additions or subtractions as this could lead people astray from His path.
