Pay debts on time

This hadith emphasizes the importance of paying debts on time. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said, “Procrastination in paying a debt by a rich person is oppression”. This means that if someone has money and they delay paying their debt, it is considered an act of injustice or oppression. The Prophet also said that if your debt is transferred from your debtor to a rich debtor, you should agree to it. This means that if someone else takes over the responsibility for your debt, you should accept it as long as they are able to pay it off in full and on time. This hadith teaches us about the importance of being responsible with our finances and honoring our commitments when we borrow money from others.
