Be kind and generous when dealing with animals; Strive for justice when making any kind of purchase or exchange; Respect animals by treating them humanely; Follow teachings from the Prophet(ﷺ).

This hadith teaches us about how to treat animals in a humane way. The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that if someone purchases an animal that has not been milked, they have the option to return it with a Sa' of dried dates. A Sa' is equivalent to four mudds which is approximately two kilograms. This hadith shows us how important it is for us to be kind and generous when dealing with animals, as well as other people.
