Jami at-Tirmidhi 1172 (Book 12, Hadith 27) #26740
Overcoming Temptation

SUMMARY: The Prophet warned against entering the homes of women whose husbands are absent, as Satan can flow through one of us like blood flows. He also mentioned that Allah helped him overcome this temptation.

Jabir narrated that The Prophet said: "Do not enter upon Al-Mughibar (the women whose husband are absent), for indeed the Shaitan flows through one of you as the blood flows". We said: "And you?" He said: "And me, but Allah helped me over him, so I am safe".

QUICK LESSONS:
Seek help from God when facing temptations

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to be mindful of our actions and to stay away from situations that could lead to sinning. In this hadith, he warned against entering the homes of women whose husbands are absent, as it is a situation where one can easily be tempted by Shaitan. He also mentioned that Allah helped him overcome this temptation, which shows us that we should always seek help from Allah in order to stay away from sinning and remain on the right path. We should remember that even though we may face difficult temptations in life, with faith and reliance on Allah we can overcome them all.
