Have your own opinion on matters; Stand up for yourself; Be independent in thought and action; Understand why you are doing something before blindly following others; Respect other people's beliefs even if you don't agree with them .

This hadith is about the importance of differing from others in certain matters. It is narrated by Ubadah bin As-Samit, who reported that when the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) followed a corpse, he would not sit until it was placed in its grave. A rabbi then came upon him and said that this is what they do too, but the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) told him to differ from them. This hadith teaches us that we should not blindly follow others without first understanding why we are doing something and if it goes against our beliefs or values, we should not do it even if everyone else does it. We must have our own opinions and stand up for ourselves even if no one else agrees with us.
