QUICK LESSONS:
Perform acts of worship like 'Umrah or Hajj whenever possible
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that the Prophet Muhammad performed an act of pilgrimage, known as an 'Umrah, during the month of Dhul Qa’dah. An 'Umrah is a pilgrimage to Mecca that can be done at any time of year and is not compulsory like the Hajj. It involves performing certain rituals such as circling around the Kaaba seven times and walking between two hills called Safa and Marwa seven times. By performing this act, Muslims are reminded to stay humble before Allah and to remember their purpose in life which is to worship Him alone. This hadith also teaches us about the importance of following in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad by doing good deeds such as performing acts of worship like 'Umrah or Hajj whenever we can.
