The Prophet's Four Umrahs

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad performed Umrah four times, one of which was during the month of Rajab.

Ibn Umar narrated: "The Prophet performed Umrah four times, one of them was during Rajab".
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ اعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعًا إِحْدَاهُنَّ فِي رَجَبٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ

This hadith tells us that the Prophet Muhammad performed four pilgrimages to Makkah, known as Umrah. One of these pilgrimages was done during the month of Rajab. It also teaches us that we should strive to follow in his footsteps and emulate his actions in our own lives. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us that performing pilgrimage is a great act of worship and devotion to Allah Almighty.
