Jami at-Tirmidhi 935 (Book 9, Hadith 128) #26501
Concealed Umrah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) performed an Umrah in Makkah during the night and returned to Al-Ji'irranah by morning, concealing it from the people.

Muharrish Al-Kabi narrated: "The Messenger of Allah left Al-Ji'irranah during the night for Umrah, then he entered Makkah during he night and performed his Umrah. Then he left there during the night, then he was in Al-Ji'irranah by the morning, as if he had spent the night. When the sun passed the zenith in the morning he left from the midst of Sarif until he came on a road from amidst Sarif. It is because of this that his Umrah was concealed from the people".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do your religious duties with humility and sincerity without expecting any reward or recognition from others but for Allah's pleasure alone .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Muharrish Al-Kabi tells us about the concealed Umrah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is said that he left for Makkah during the night and performed his Umrah, then he left there during the night and was back in Al-Ji'irranah by morning as if he had spent the night there. This shows us how important it is to keep our deeds hidden from others, as this was a practice of our beloved prophet. He wanted to perform his religious duties without any show or pride, which is why he chose to do so at night when no one could see him. This teaches us that we should not be proud or boastful about our good deeds but rather keep them between ourselves and Allah SWT. We should also strive to do good deeds without expecting any reward or recognition from others but rather for Allah's pleasure alone.
