Prohibiting Women from Shaving Their Heads

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad prohibited women from shaving their heads.

Ali narrated: "The Messenger of Allah prohibited that a woman should shave her head".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْجُرَشِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ خِلاَسِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَنْ تَحْلِقَ الْمَرْأَةُ رَأْسَهَا
