Give charity generously both during your lifetime and after you have passed away .

This hadith narrates the story of Sa'd bin Ubada, whose mother passed away in his absence. He asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ if it would benefit her if he gave charity on her behalf, to which the Prophet ﷺ replied in affirmation. Sa'd then took the Prophet ﷺ as witness and gave his garden Al-Makhraf in charity on her behalf. This hadith teaches us that giving charity on behalf of a deceased person is beneficial for them and can be done as an act of kindness towards them even after their death.
