QUICK LESSONS:
Balance between spiritual obligations & family responsibilities; Fulfill duties towards Allah & His Messenger; Take care of family members

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas tells us that the Prophet Muhammad married Maimunah while he was in a state of Ihram. This is significant because it shows us that even though the Prophet was performing an important religious duty, he still found time to fulfill his obligations as a husband and father. It also teaches us that we should not neglect our duties to our families even when we are engaged in religious activities. Furthermore, it serves as an example for Muslims to follow when they are performing Hajj or Umrah and need to balance their spiritual obligations with their family responsibilities.

The hadith also highlights the importance of marriage in Islam and how it is encouraged by the religion. It shows us that marriage is not only about fulfilling one’s desires but also about fulfilling one’s duties towards Allah and His Messenger, which includes taking care of one’s family members.
