EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of eating a pre-dawn meal, known as sahar, before performing the dawn prayer. It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that Zaid bin Thabit said that they ate sahar with the Messenger of Allah and then stood for salat. When asked how long it took them, he replied that it was about fifty verses long. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of our time when preparing for salat and to make sure we eat sahar beforehand so we can perform our prayers in a timely manner. It also shows us how important it is to have good manners when eating as even though they were in a rush, they still took their time while eating sahar with the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
