QUICK LESSONS:
Follow religious practices as prescribed by Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah states that it is not recommended to fast before the month of Ramadan unless it is a regular practice. This means that if someone has been fasting on certain days regularly, then they can continue doing so even before the start of Ramadan. However, if someone does not have any such regular practice, then they should abstain from fasting before the start of Ramadan. This hadith teaches us to be mindful and careful about our religious practices and rituals and follow them in accordance with what has been prescribed by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
