The Opening of Paradise on the First Night of Ramadan

SUMMARY: On the first night of Ramadan, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and Allah frees some people from Hell.

Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Messenger of Allah said: "On the first night of the month of Ramadan, the Shayatin are shackled, the Jinns are restrained, the gates of the Fires are shut such that no gate among them would be opened. The gates of Paradise are opened such that no gate among them would be closed, and a caller calls: 'O seeker of the good; come near!' and 'O seeker of evil; stop! For there are those whom Allah frees from the Fire'. And that is every night".

He also frees some people from hell who have done bad deeds in their life. This is a sign that Allah is merciful and forgiving even if we make mistakes in our lives. It also shows us how important it is to take advantage of this month by doing good deeds so that we can be rewarded with paradise when we die.
