Glancing During Salat

SUMMARY: The Prophet would glance during Salat.

Sa'eed bin Abi Hind narrated from some of the companions of Ikrimah: "The Prophet would glance during Salat" and he mentioned a similar narration.
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، أَصْحَابِ عِكْرِمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ يَلْحَظُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ ‏.‏ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَعَائِشَةَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's practice of glancing during prayer. It is narrated by Sa'eed bin Abi Hind from some of the companions of Ikrimah. This hadith teaches us that it is permissible to glance during prayer, as long as it does not distract one from their concentration and focus on the prayer itself. It also teaches us that we should strive to maintain our focus and concentration while praying, so that we can benefit fully from our prayers and receive all its blessings.
