Show respect & humility towards those in authority over you

The hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah warns against disrespecting the Imam, or leader, by raising one's head before him. According to this hadith, if someone does not show respect to their leader and raises their head before them, Allah may punish them with a transformation of their head into that of a donkey. This is meant to be taken as an example and warning for people to show respect and humility towards those in authority over them.
