QUICK LESSONS:
Showing gratitude towards God by praying or other acts of worship.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of showing gratitude to Allah for His power and ability. It was narrated by Aisha that when the Prophet Muhammad would recite from the Qur'an he would prostrate in gratitude to Allah for creating him with hearing and vision. This teaches us that we should be thankful for all that we have been blessed with in life. We should take a moment each day to thank Allah for His blessings and show our appreciation through prayer or other acts of worship. Additionally, this hadith also serves as a reminder that everything we have is due to Allah's power and ability alone; He is the one who has given us these gifts so it is only right that we show Him our gratitude in return.
