QUICK LESSONS:
Turn to Allah with humility & sincerity through prayers

EXPLANATIONS:
During an eclipse, the Prophet Muhammad would lead a special prayer known as the eclipse prayer. This prayer was different from other prayers in that he would recite aloud during it. This is significant because usually when praying, Muslims are encouraged to recite quietly or silently. By reciting aloud during this special occasion, it shows that there is a time and place for everything and that even something as sacred as prayer can be done differently depending on the situation. It also serves as an example of how Muslims should act in times of difficulty or distress; they should turn to Allah with humility and sincerity through their prayers.

The Prophet's actions also serve to remind us of our own mortality; no matter how powerful we may feel at times, we must always remember that Allah is greater than anything else in this world and He alone has control over all things. We must never forget to turn to Him in times of need or difficulty, for He will always be there for us if we seek His help with sincerity and humility.
