Strive for improvement in worship practices; Be open minded towards new ideas within Islamic teachings; Follow in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) .

This hadith talks about the call to prayer or adhan during the time of Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr and Umar. During this time, when it was time for prayer, an announcement would be made by an Imam when he came out. Then Uthman added a third call at Az-Zawra which is a valley in Iraq. This shows us that Muslims should always strive to improve their worship practices and follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It also teaches us that we should always be open minded towards new ideas as long as they are within Islamic teachings.
