Light Prayers Before Fajr and Witr

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would pray two Rak'ah before Fajr and one Rak'ah for Witr, and they were light.

Anas bin Sirin narrated that : he asked Ibn Umar about the length of the two Rak'ah (before) Al-Fajr. He said: "The Prophet would pray two and two during the night, and he would perform Al-Witr with one Rak'ah. And he would pray two Rak'ah while he was hearing the Adhan meaning that they were light".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray two rak’ahs before fajar and one rak’ah for witir in a mindful manner

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer habits. He would pray two Rak'ah before the dawn prayer of Fajar, which were light prayers. He also prayed one Rak'ah for his witir prayer, which was also a light prayer. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our prayers and make sure to perform them in a way that is pleasing to Allah SWT. We should not rush through our prayers or take them lightly; instead, we should take our time with each prayer so that we can focus on what we are saying and doing during it. Additionally, this hadith reminds us of the importance of praying at night as well as during the day in order to stay connected with Allah SWT throughout all times of day.
