Fast during the month Muharram, Pray at night

This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, speaks about the virtue of fasting and prayer during the month of Al-Muharram. It is said that Allah's Messenger declared that fasting during this month is more virtuous than any other time after Ramadan. Similarly, it is also said that night prayer during this month has a higher degree of virtue than any other obligatory prayers.
