QUICK LESSONS:
Perform two additional prostration after saying Salam in prayer
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of performing two prostrations after the salam in prayer. It is narrated by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that he would perform two prostrations after saying the salam at the end of his prayer. This shows us how important it is to perform these extra prostrations and how much emphasis was placed on them by our beloved prophet ﷺ. These extra prostrations are known as sajdah al-sahw and they are a way for us to make up for any mistakes we may have made during our prayer or if we forgot something in our recitation or actions. By performing these extra prostrations, we can ensure that our prayers are accepted and that Allah will forgive us for any mistakes we may have made during our prayer.
