Giving Good Advice to Every Muslim

SUMMARY: The hadith is about Jarir's pledge of allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his commitment to give good advice to every Muslim.

Narrated Jarir: When I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger and he stipulated that I should give good advice to every Muslim.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاَقَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَرِيرًا ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَاشْتَرَطَ عَلَىَّ وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ‏.‏
