Salat Etiquette of the Prophet (S)

SUMMARY: The Prophet (S) would perform Salat while sitting and reciting, then stand up to finish the recitation before bowing and prostrating.

Aishah narrated: "The Prophet (S) would perform Salat while sitting. And he would recite while sitting. When about thirty or forty Ayah of his recitation remained he would standup and recite while he was standing, then he would bow and prostrate. Then he would do the same in the second Rak'ah".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow prophetic example in worshiping Allah SWT .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Aishah describes the etiquette of performing salat as practiced by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He would begin his prayer while sitting and recite a portion of it in that position. When he was left with about thirty or forty ayahs to recite he would stand up and complete his recitation before bowing and prostrating. This is an example for us to follow when we pray salat so that we can emulate our beloved prophet ﷺ in our worship of Allah SWT.
